Halogen acne is an acneiform eruption or worsening of existing acne, triggered by medicines containing halogens such as iodides, bromides and fluorides.[1]
A longer exposure to high levels of iodides and bromides may result in halogenoderma.[1] The terms are sometimes used interchangeably and has also been called halogen rosacea.[2]
