Endometrial stromal tumors are a type of mesenchymal tumor of the main body of the uterus.[1]
Types
There are four major categories of endometrial stromal tumor.[2] Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma and high-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma are distinct diseases, both having their own particular appearance under the microscope, each behaving differently, and both having unique molecular changes.[2]
