Chalu (Persian: چالو), also Romanized as Chālū,[3] is a village in Chahardangeh Rural District, Chahardangeh District, Sari County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 589 in 135 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 354 people in 123 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 340 people in 128 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
