Yam (Persian: يام)[a] is a village in Hesar Rural District of Khabushan District, Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,428 in 400 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,408 people in 454 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,328 people in 452 households. Yam was the most populous village in its rural district at the time. [2]
