Maivan (Persian: مايوان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Shah Jahan Rural District[4] of the Central District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,629 in 750 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,326 people in 981 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,604 people in 1,130 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
