We at Wikipedia love evidence-based medicine. Please cite high-quality reliable sources. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. The literature...
Hi Ellen - great to see you here. A couple of tips. Your Uni library may be able to get you access to some paywalled journal articles, such as PMID 12077711 (which probably has more historical info than those book links) – try asking a librarian there. Also, sometime when you have a bit of time, you might like to learn a bit more about ways of consulting PubMed (including use of MeSH terms). There are plenty of tutorials around (eg [2][3][4]), and it's something that I think universities really should be getting all life-science students to do. Learning to use PubMed well is incredibly useful and a great investment for the future :))

- Thank you 86.181.67.166! I could actually open the Pubmed link you have provided, but only through the university library web page with my student account. Those MeSH terms are interesting, I have heard of it, never really did anything with it. Will do those tutorials as you suggested. Thanks for that and everything. - You're most welcome Ellen. Yes, MeSH terms can be particularly useful for "specific" (rather than "sensitive") searches. PubMed filters are also really simple and useful: for Wikipedia purposes (eg finding MEDRS to source any sort of clinical claim) the "Article types" filter is key. A word of warning though: it pays to remember that the NLM librarians who catalogue articles are only human, and the way individual articles get catalogued actually varies quite a lot. For relapsing polychondritis, no paper was actually indexed as an "historical article". Nevertheless, scanning the abstracts of review articles (filter here) quickly led me to one which appears to include an historical focus. 86.181.67.166 (talk) 00:26, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
