Copyright contributor investigation and Good article reassessment

You are receiving this message because you were a Good article reviewer on at least one article that is part of Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20210315 or you signed up for messages. An AN discussion closed with consensus to delist this group of Good articles for copyright and other problems, unless a reviewer opens an independent Good article reassessment and can vouch for/verify content of all sources. Please review Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/February 2023 for further information. A list of the GA reviewers can be found here. Questions or comments can be made at the project talk page. Procedural notification

Hi, I and others have proposed additional options at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)#RfC_on_a_procedural_community_desysop. You may wish to review your position in that RfC. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:21, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

To Ajpolino, thank you for improving the article "Lung cancer". Axl ¤ [Talk] 18:33, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
Thank you Axl that's very kind. Certainly I wouldn't have been able to do it without the solid foundation that you'd put in place. When an article already has good bones, updates aren't so bad. Anyway, nice to see you. Ajpolino (talk) 20:01, 1 May 2023 (UTC)

Links at ANI

I was going to go through the links you provided here and maybe vote based on what you found but I can't get any of them to work because, at least from my end, they each try to go to articles whose titles are those big revision ID numbers. Like, your first link, "https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=1157191628&oldid=", took me to 1157191628. I know pretty much nothing about the diff link template but since I don't want this to be like I'm giving you an assignment, I'd like to try to figure it out (learning experience!) if you're okay with that. Either way, I bet I can still track them down, meaning you still made a helpful little directory so thank you for it. CityOfSilver 18:28, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

Ah crap. Wrong template. Give it another go, now it's working for me. Thanks for bringing it up. Ajpolino (talk) 21:48, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

The article mentions no drug interactions, but ibuprofen toxicity is increased by AChEIs that can lead to stomach bleeding and anemia. I am loathe to use any of the drug websites or any of the sources that google coughs up on this for adding this material to the article; would you have time (NO hurry) to use your paywalled access to see if there is a more decent source on this? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 17:34, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

Found this, but 2011 date. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 17:43, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
Will do, though it might take me a few days. Finding good sources on drugs is always surprisingly challenging, but I'll take a look and hopefully dig up something useful. As a side note I intended to action your request at WT:MED about dementia but as I was reading some recent reviews I think the article would benefit from some really heavy editing that I wasn't quite ready to jump into. If no one beats me to it, I'll head that way soon enough (it'll share some sources with the work you suggested on Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, et al.). In the meantime, I'm glad to see you popped in the anemia thing. Ajpolino (talk) 02:37, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
I finally got a wee bit of a break from IRL awful. Thanks for whatever you can send my way, whenever you can ... no hurry whatsoever. Bst, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:39, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

I'm not dead

Just a note -- because I see you still ping me :)

I'm still alive, and still check my watchlist infrequently. I'm currently trying to weigh up whether it's worth it to get into a discussion with someone who's repeatedly drive-by removing 30% of a GA I wrote. I have been very seriously considering working on some medical articles in a different area (disorders of consciousness), that I've been researching in-depth lately and noticed the articles are just about unchanged from when I first read them over a decade ago; this "might be fun", but it'd definitely be extremely in-depth, and my previous histmerge-y work style was fairly dependent on the generosity of the tragically departed Anthony Appleyard. Nonetheless. I'm glad you're still here and thinking about me, and I hope you're well. Vaticidalprophet 16:52, 2 June 2023 (UTC)

Wow, I've been out for a week, and what a treat to find on my return! I'm not exactly sure what falls under the umbrella of disorders of consciousness, but if dementia-causing disorders are of interest I know SandyGeorgia has been trying to recruit folks to improve articles on the topic for some time, and you'll see many of them are among the most viewed medicine pages. They're near the bottom of my to-do list now, but if you'd be interested in updating one, I'd be happy to split an article with you any time. Just let me know what sections interest you least and I'll work on those.
Otherwise, I hope you find your way to editing habits that bring you joy. I've found there are many tasks and topics that are worthy of work, but that I just can't stay motivated on for long. This is a hobby and we're volunteers, so I think it's fair for us to just work in ways we enjoy the most. And if you do burnout again, don't sweat it. I'm pleased you're alive and here. Happy Holidays

Thank you Spicy, same to you. I'm always glad to see you're still around, even if you've left (interesting) medicine articles for (obviously boring) SPI work ;) Cheers and warm wishes. Ajpolino (talk) 20:05, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
