May-Grunwald stain and May-Grunwald-Giemsa stain are not the same

This article seems to imply that May-Grunwald stain and May-Grunwald-Giemsa stain are the same thing. But actually, May-Grunwald-Giemsa stain is a double staining : First May-Grunwald stain is done. Then again Giemsa stain is done, in order to stain both nucleus and cytoplasmic granules beautifully. See for example may-grunwald-giemsa-staining. Tkuya (talk) 20:03, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
