I

i'm not a doctor and know very little about medicine, i just became breifly interested in hip fractures. this article needs expansion from someone with some medical knowledge- stuff about "pathological" causes and the other kind, etc . . . Heah 23:26, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I will try to find appropriate images to illustrate this article. I note that nonunion and malunion do not have entries. Nonunion is ambiguous with labour relations issues. --Mylesclough 07:20, 25 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

With respect to the recent revision of this page and the placement of new headings; I think it is a good idea to have headings. However, most of what is discussed on the page is description of the different types of hip fracture and we haven't got very far with describing management etc. I will get back to this and fill in an outline using the above headings. --Mylesclough 06:27, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I just put in new headings to break up and better describe the existing content, but we certainly could use more content --Arcadian 06:41, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Medial fracture image gallery

There are too many images here for the article, but I'm moving this here so the gallery doesn't get lost...

Split: Hip fracture treatment

This article is getting a bit bulky; I think the last half of it needs to go in an article specifically about treatment of hip fractures. ~ Booyabazooka 06:12, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update: The split has been done.Booya Bazooka 07:48, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good article. It needs some work. I will try to edit is as I have time. --Moquito 17 03:49, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Moquito_17[reply]

WHI score

Why does "pertrochanteric" redirect here?

Not mentioned in article. What does it mean? 109.157.79.50 (talk) 01:14, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian Collaborative Study of Hip Fractures

Information about the Canadian Collaborative study has been merged to this page. The portion of the article committed to this subject is not very informative. I am recommending it be deleted. IIIBALESIII 02:50, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
