The structure is wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.97.47.64 (talk) 21:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I checked it again, the stereochemistry corresponds to the that of in the CA. However, the name is not correct, the second amino acid in the side chain should be D-asparaginyl. Tgunda (talk) 15:29, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, in Chemistry & Biology, Vol. 11, 949–957, July, 2004, Jung and others demonstrated that the depolarization of the membrane occurs as a result of cell death and is not, in-fact, the mechanism by which cell death is attained. They also provide the refined mechanism of action which should be changed in this article. There is also a structure in that article which could be used to rectify the complaint above. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.195.235.242 (talk) 17:37, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Daptomycin resistance

Daptomycin resistance is still uncommon but has been increasingly reported in GRE, starting
in Korea in 2005, in Europe in 2010, in Taiwan 2011, and in the USA, where 9 cases have been
reported from 2007 to 2011.[5] Daptomycin resistance emerged in 5 of the 6 cases, while they
were treated. The mechanism of resistance is unknown.

5 of **what** 6 cases? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.148.191.213 (talk) 12:31, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Told ya so...

Homeosystimatic (genetic mod) fortifications imbued by homeostasis may result in semi- resistance; properly functionary immune Sys responsibility. (Mind over matter; or the constituent genetics adapting defense mechanisms. BobKatt (talk) 01:00, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The chirality of the second amino acid is wrong in figures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.194.168.60 (talk) 16:24, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
