This is a list of known military aid that has been provided to Israel during the Israel-Hamas War. This list includes delivered equipment, training, intelligence, treatment of soldiers, logistical support as well as financial support to the Israeli government.[1][2]

Donors

Military aid donations were coordinated throughout the war, at monthly meetings of Israel's Defense Coordination Group. The US has been a major contributor to Israel providing significant military aid.[3][4]

United States

Following the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel and outbreak of the Israel–Hamas war, the United States began to send warships and military aircraft into the Eastern Mediterranean and began sending Israel more military supplies. The Joe Biden administration stated that Israel would receive "whatever it needs" to support its offensive against the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.[5]

After an initial period of Western support for the offensive, Israel and the United States became increasingly isolated amid growing worldwide calls for a ceasefire,[6][7][8] with the US vetoing three United Nations Security Council resolutions calling for a humanitarian ceasefire.[9] International rights groups have condemned the U.S. for providing military and diplomatic support to Israel that they say risks complicity in Israeli war crimes.[10][11][12][13] By March 7, 2024, the US had sent Israel over 100 weapons shipments since the war began.[14][15]

As the war went on, US–Israel relations began to become strained.[16][17] The US government became more critical of Israel and its stance slowly began to change as Palestinian civilian casualties rose and opposition grew. In February, the Biden administration issued a national security directive requiring written assurances from Israel that it was using US-supplied weapons in line with international law. In March, the US began calling for an immediate and sustained ceasefire linked to the release of hostages, and Israel berated the US for allowing a ceasefire resolution to pass at the UN Security Council. The US also voiced its opposition to much of Israel's post-war plan for Gaza.[18] Still, on March 29, 2024, the Biden administration authorized the transfer of billions of dollars worth of bombs and fighter jets to Israel.[19][20]

United Kingdom

Following the outbreak of the Israel–Hamas war on 7 October 2023, the United Kingdom has provided Israel with extensive military and diplomatic support. In response to the 7 October attacks, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak asserted that the United Kingdom "unequivocally" stands with Israel.[21] The UK also issued an "unequivocal condemnation" of Palestinian militant group Hamas[22] and deployed British Armed Forces personnel and assets to the Eastern Mediterranean to support Israel.[23]

The United Kingdom solidly aligns itself with the United States throughout the conflict, which has also given significant support to Israel, abstaining from three ceasefire resolutions put forth by the United Nations Security Council calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.[24] This stance has led the United Kingdom to face increasing isolation along with the United States and Israel as global calls for a ceasefire intensify.[25] British ministers have openly endorsed Israel's forced evacuation orders and unlawful collective punishment of the Gaza Strip, without condemning any of Israel's policies despite the mounting death toll.[26]

Israel used British-supplied weapons in the war.[27][28][29] 15% of the components of each Israeli F-35 fighter jet are made by British companies, including BAE Systems.[30] According to the Campaign Against Arms Trade, the UK has granted arms export licences to Israel amounting to £574 million ($727 million) since 2008, including £42 million ($53 million) in 2022.[31] Despite growing calls from various international organizations, over 600 members of the British legal profession, and three former senior British judges who argue that the UK's arms sales to Israel violate international law,[32] Foreign Secretary David Cameron said on 9 April 2024, that the United Kingdom will not cease its arms sales to Israel.[33] International human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch have criticized the UK for its military and diplomatic support to Israel, arguing that such support could render the UK complicit in Israeli war crimes and genocide.[34][35] As of April 2024, it is estimated that the conflict has resulted in the killing of over 34,000 Palestinians.[36]

Germany

Germany is one of the major arms suppliers to Israel.[37]

India

India has reportedly been exporting rockets, drones like Elbit Hermes 900, explosives and other military equipment to Israel during the Gaza war.[38][39] A cargo ship, laden with over 30 tons of such supplies intended for the Israeli Defense Forces, was discovered off the coast of Spain.. This ship, which had set sail from southeastern India, was en route to Ashdod, a port situated roughly 30 kilometers from the strife-ridden Gaza Strip.[40] However, Spain refused to give the ship a port call.[41][42][43]
