Ali Al Qadi

Ali Mohammad Ali Al Qadi (Arabic: علي محمد علي القاضي; died 13 October 2023) was a Palestinian senior Hamas commander in the Nukhba special forces unit.^[1] He was involved in the planning of the 7 October attacks in Israel.^[2] Qadhi was from the West Bank.^[3] In 2005, Israel arrested Qadhi for his involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Sasson Nuriel,^[4] but he was released in 2011 as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange.^[5]^[6] As part of the prisoner exchange, he was deported to Gaza.^[3] On 14 October 2023, the Israel Defense Forces announced that it had killed Qadhi in a drone attack.^[7]^[4]
