Kilaneh (Persian: كيلانه), also Romanized as Kīlāneh and Keylāneh; also known as Kīfaneh, and Gīlāneh,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Abidar Rural District of the Central District of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the former village of Hasanabad.[5] The village is populated by Kurds.[6]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,008 in 263 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,023 people in 302 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 894 people in 265 households.[2]
