Yasukand (Persian: یاسوکند), also Romanized as Yāsūkand; also known as Ḩasanābād-e Yāsūkand, Hasan Ābād-e-Sowgand, Ḩasanābād-e Sūgand, and Korānī,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Korani District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Korani Rural District.[5] The city is populated by Turkics.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,268 in 917 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 3,784 people in 1,066 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,490 people in 1,067 households.[2]
