Welcome to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to James Randi ([1][2]), please be advised that according to WP:Lead, the Lead section should summarize only the most salient information in the article, as it pertains to the reason why the subject is notable, a point that Chaoticfluffy pointed out in his/her edit summary. Contrary to this edit summary of yours, James Randi is not notable because of his LGBT status, nor is LGBT status automatically part of LGBT status for anyone who holds it. While many BLP articles details aspects of the subjects' relationships or personal lives, that information is generally not in the Lead unless it pertains to the reasons why that person is notable. It is for this reason that such things are mentioned in the articles of say, Rachel Uchitel, Michelle Obama or Brad Pitt, but not in the articles of say, Jack Nicklaus, Barack Obama or Meryl Streep.
