Not yet? I can always resend it later if it doesn't go through. By the way, I've sent you another e-mail about something else. So much for me taking a break from Wikipedia. :| --Kyoko16:57, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fifth Third Field images
Thank you for fixing those images. I had a mental breakdown, apparently, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong. Thanks again so much. Happy Wikying! hmwith talk15:45, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
More eguor than rouge, I'd like to think :) Maybe I should back off a little—leave something for you veterans ;) But seriously, these 3 extra buttons have opened my eyes to the unconscionable amount of drivel that gets onto WP. Hey, I haven't even started on AIV and RFPP... Fvasconcellos (t·c) 15:55, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh. I'm still a little scared of that particular venue :) I should give it a go, maybe I'll do fine... Any advice? (maybe I should ask Allie as well—she practically lives there) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:15, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, although you and Michaelas10 said you'd monitor my contributions for a few months and then see about adminship, I'm just wondering if you'd be interested in adding a few questions to the coach page just to try to keep challenging me. Regards --The SunshineMan19:33, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey there again! Just thought I'd give you a heads-up and say I've unprotected Psilocybin mushrooms, which you semi'd back in March due to vandalism. I don't even know whether or not you remember, so... anyway. :) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 13:50, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I like the picture you loaded for Guy Sebastian! I am aware that free images are only allowed for living people biographies because fair use images are not allowed. But is this the same for musical groups? I noticed a lot of articles of bands using fair use images and I never see them up for deletion, and I thought that image policy would be the same for individual people. Are fair use images allowed for those articles? RaNdOm2616:59, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ck lostsword's RfA - Thanks
Thanks very much for your support in my recent RfA, which passed successfully at 40/2/1, making me Wikipedia's 1,250thadministrator. Your comments were much appreciated, and I will endeavour to fulfil your expectations as an admin.
If you like to, you're welcome to point out the mindlessness of this :D —AldeBaer 19:29, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Nah, I don't like haranguing supporters or opposers... I didn't do that at my own RfA... just the people who go after supporters/opposers :) Riana⁂19:34, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ooha, then we might meet again, I usually harass all other voters, regardless of how I voted .-) —AldeBaer 21:29, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
I see you got your buttons back, congrats! Xams over? So its time for a little bugging now (I guess you are a bit out of luck, you were the only admin whose name showed up in my watchlist in the UAA page). Could you please delete Image:Moi lolita single cover.jpg? I have deprecated its usage. And, welcome back! Thanks in adv. :) --soumtalk06:11, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Yeah I am but I cannot access the page. The filters in my college are getting tripped off by the "lolita" in the title, and I dont want to circumvent that (and risk getting caught) unless I absolutely have to. :P. Anyways, see you around. :) --soumtalk06:17, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the network in my college is ten times faster than my pithy 768k connection. So, any large video download (> 2-3 GB) and I sneak it through the coll network. Since video downloads are also blocked, I have no choice but to circumvent it. :P Anyways, how was ur exams? --soumtalk06:26, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not done yet, but the worst ones are done (thermodynamics and quantum phenomena). Now looking forward to a bit of 'normal' chemistry stuff... that's next week. Riana⁂06:28, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All the best for those. :) I am signing off now, got some hardcore math stuff to tackle (doing which I absolutely loathe). Catchya l8r. Bye. --soumtalk06:31, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Bah. I have been banned for downloading gigabytes of porn at my college before. You could still use open proxies, one of the guys at your unversity let me know about JAP. :) — Nearly Headless Nick{C}10:15, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I use that to download the teleseries, currently The 4400 (season 2) and Scrubs for a trial run. And the network admins have gotten smart enough to block JAP, and we to outsmart them :D; as for editing wiki, why would we have to bypass anything when it is not blocked? --soumtalk10:42, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No rush, take your time.. MECU pretty much answered so if you need a few days or a week or however long don't worry about it, I'll still be around ;) -- Editor at Large • talk06:11, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Protection of The Rocky Horror Picture Show article
I am sorry to bother you on this subject but I was wondering about something. I recently requested full protection of the article "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" due to edit warring and other problems. I noticed that the protection went up before the result was shown on the request. When the result went up on the request it said "Already protected" So I ask why that result. My request went up BEFORE the protection. Was there another request for protection by someone else through a diferrent route. I noticed there is no other request mentioned on that page. Please inform me as to why the result was not just "Full protection". If someone else made a request I don't need to know who, just what other route a request can be made. --Amadscientist08:17, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Amadscientist - no, the protection was placed after you made the request. I just marked it as 'already protected' because it had been protected by Magnus animum (talk·contribs), but he forgot to flag the request as completed on the request page. Hope that helps! :) And yes, you can always request protection of articles on an admin's talk page or via IRC or something, but for transparency it's best to do it at WP:RFPP. Cheers, Riana⁂19:13, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please review the contributions. I'm running out of patience. AGF, yes, yes, it's very important, but this is dwindling out of control. We can't just let him go on forever. Just review the contributions. Cool Bluetalk to me21:04, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm still fairly new here, so I was wondering why you remove my report of the vandal 24.184.113.219. Here is the diff. Just curious, so I can do it correctly next time! DangerousNerd talk21:08, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi DN, it's because you hadn't warned him yet. I did so. Next time you see vandalism, please warn the editor with one of the templates from here. Hope that helps! :) Riana⁂21:10, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I must admit I'm a little confused, though. On his talk page, he had the "last warning" template, so when he made the disruptive edit, I thought that I was simply to report him without adding another template. What template should I add next time this happens? DangerousNerd talk21:13, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at the timestamp for that last warning, it was issued about 3 months ago. Since IPs can be reassigned to people, we have to assume that it was a different person this time, and start again from first level warnings. Riana⁂21:15, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Riana (dzasta) :-)! I am normally too lazy to check out the protection templates at {{RFPP}}, so you'll probably see me {{subst:Done}}'ing them; I've alse never been to AN3, so I didn't know how results were formatted. Anyway...thanks, «ANIMUM»23:42, 18 June 2007 (UTC) (PS: I may ask azatoth to make a RPP closing script, or I may do it myself, or I may not do it at all, who knows?! :-) )[reply]
Exams, and was getting frustrated at a lot of stuff on-wiki (shhh) but I found it really hard to do what I do without admin tools! Riana⁂00:02, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is, quite. At least I don't have to work myself to death while I'm dog tired anymore; my sister and new brother-in-law moved in a while ago so that's easier. He has some real good advice (he's thirty and been married once before) that's also helped, and now I'm saving some money because I only have to pay ½ the rent check. :D — $PЯINGrαgђ 00:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That one, and the one earlier [1], where someone wanted a name blocked because he'd created an article on his self-named company, made my UFAA day! Hope yours is going well! --Steve (Stephen) talk 06:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Dgies has agreed to admin coach me (see his talk page) but he's extremely inactive. I'm wondering if you are willing to co-coach with him? I'm not sure what he meant by an admin coaching subpage, so I posted a page with some comments at User:N/admincoaching but I suspect it's not right. Can you please help me? :) (P.S. welcome back). -N14:03, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for "butting in" but Dgies seems to be active, hes editing on daily basis but not much, give it some time and I'm sure he'll be ready to coach you. The Sunshine Man14:43, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No rush, I don't forsee me being ready (in terms of my approach to Wikipedia, my contribution history, or the way the community sees me) for several more months. As Sunshine Man notes, Dgies will probably get around to me. -N15:06, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Coaching
Hi Riana, as you said you'd leave some questions/comments at my admin coaching page on Tuesday and the day has come, I noticed you had left a comment but any chance of getting a few questions there, if you're too busy in real life thats OK. Regards --The Sunshine Man14:44, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I owe you an apology for this comment. I should have shown good faith and taken your comment on face value rather than rushing to an assumption that your comment was designed to invalidate earlier votes. For that I apologise. -- Mattinbgn/talk19:56, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for being so gracious! I must admit I was tired, had been sent home from work early with the flu and more than a little cranky when I went so far over the top. I cringed when I read back what I had written. I should have been in bed, not editing Wikipedia! Despite my earlier comments I actually have a great deal fo respect for you and I would love to work with you on something in the future. Cheers, Mattinbgn/talk23:18, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but there seems to be some sort of long term discussion on it. Do you think it's OK to delete it? If so, I will. Riana⁂06:38, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I don't think I'm allowed to simply delete a talkpage unless the article is also deleted. You should probably archive the page if there's something there that you don't want to be reminded about. Riana⁂15:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Riana, Bayannor Bhasha Andolon, Ekushey February'r article, i.e. Language movement is now on the WP:FAC block. Since Rama's Arrow, the main person working on the article is leaving WP, we need more experienced editors to work on the article. So, if you have some spare time, I'll request you to do a copyedit. Thanks in advance ... --Ragib07:57, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's spam because it was created by a User who has been systematically spamming links to the Xpflow website. He spammed the link in multiple articles and created several article specifically to tout the website. He has since been banned for spamming the link, and I was hoping for some clean-up support from an admin. It is the very essence of an advert masquerading as an article. Happy birthday Ms D! Having a bithday at this time of the year is a bit of a pain in the arse, isn't it. Mine is actually on Saturday (23rd) and when I was at uni it was always either in the middle of or right before the exam period. Most inconsiderate of the parentals. Hi Riana. What exactly happened to your last name dzasta?
There was nothing wrong with it?
Hey, would it be alright if I send you an E-mail someday?

Is that ok with you my dear? Cheers:) KingLopezContribs09:45, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi -- I was just wondering what happened to Roadkill Bill. The guy who draws it seems to be kind of a maniac, so if it was "self promotion" it may be crap. But on the other hand, it has been pretty influential and around quite a long time, so it might ought to be covered in wikipedia. I'm not enough of a fan I want to do a lot of work (I was just going to stub it when I saw the deletion message) so I'd just like to see what the text was like before I decide whether it's worth hacking on. I guess there's no way to see the history of a deleted file, is there? :-( --Jaibe21:08, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
