{{helpme}} So I have an ambitious project in mind but I'm uncertain (1) if it's appropriate for wikipedia (2) if it already exists and (3) how I would go about implementing it. I think the whole math section of wikipedia could provide practice problems.
In support of providing problems: (1) math is learned by doing, not by reading about how-to-do. (2) Based on textbook sales there's a huge demand. (3) Providing 100 example questions for every elementary, geometric, algebreic, statistical, and calculus based section is a measureable and achievable goal. (4) I'd be willing to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division if someone else would put together a few example questions in logistic regression and t-tests. Against providing problems: not something typically seen in encyclopedias.

- I agree with Notyourbroom. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it's content is mostly theoretical. Wikiversity on the other hand is designed for exactly those kind of things and you are welcome to contribute there. Wikibooks is not the correct place though, that's more for complete books rather than the examples PCAndrew suggests. Regards SoWhy 06:14, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

PCANDREW REPLIES: I had a great source for "This victory was facilitated by an early example of biological warfare. In July of 1763, Lord Amhurst ordered the distribution of blankets innoculated with smallpox to the native amercians surrounding the fort." but I didn't know how to post it.
