In your wiki-voyages, a few things that may be relevant to editing wikipedia articles are:

  • Thanks for coming aboard! We always appreciate a new editor. Feel free to leave us a message at any time on the WikiProject Anatomy talk page.   • We try and use a standard way of arranging the content in each article. That layout is here. These headings let us have a standard way of presenting the information in anatomical articles, indicate what information may have been forgotten, and save angst when trying to decide how to organise an article. That said, this might not suit every article. If in doubt, be bold!
  • We write for a general audience. Every reader should be able to understand anatomical articles, so when possible please write in a simple form—most readers do not understand anatomical jargon. See this essay for more details.

GSP Airport Edit

Could you please clarify your comments that you sent me regarding the GSP Airport page? "Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport, you may be blocked from editing."

I did not vandalize the page or post any disruptive content. If you have a disagreement with a change or correction that I made, I am open to discussion. Please advise what you saw that was disruptive or vandalism.

I'm sorry that I did not cite a source when I edited the page, but I didn't know it was necessary for such a small change. I have also added a bit of text to the "Airlines and destinations" section. Senator International is a cargo handling company founded in Germany. I have added sources from the Greenville News, GoUpstate, The Upstate Business Journal, Senator International's website, The American Journal of Transportation, and freightweek.
Was there a reason why you removed my edit on the destination of "Frankfurt-Hahn" to just "Hahn?" I actually had a question about this. The airport's name is Frankfurt-Hahn, but the city/town is Hahn. Is there a standard for this table for airport pages?

Mgutta Unfortunately wikilinking Senator International navigates one to an article on a film production company of the same name. I don't think the company you are referring to fits the notability criteria to deserve a wiki article of its own. See notability guidelines for more information. Signature issue you may not be aware of

After responding to you at WT:BIRDS, I clicked on your signature and was taken to this userpage, an editor with about 100 edits who has not edited since January 2006. Is that you? (I suspect it might be since one of that account's first edits was to a bird article), but I'm not so sure you are intentionally linking there still, when this account has a userpage. Just to let you know that I have extensively reworked and expanded this article, so I have removed the tags you added in January. The article would be enhanced if we could find sound files but I couldn't find any which had the appropriate commons licence. I have tried to remember to use US English but I am Scottish so British English is my natural way of writing so if you see any non-US usage please feel free to correct. Horse Creek (Tennessee River tributary)

Hi, Njain1091. I have reverted your page move at Horse Creek (Tennessee River tributary).

Let's use the example: Horse Creek

If a U.S. state (such as Mississippi) contains a stream with a unique name, then by all means name it Horse Creek (Mississippi). Checking GNIS reveals that there are in fact multiple rivers in Mississippi with this name. There is consensus at Wikipedia:WikiProject Rivers (section Wikipedia:NCRIVER) that in the instance of "Multiple rivers with the same name", a "river can be identified uniquely as a tributary of another river".

The former naming style was Horse Creek (Tennessee River). Recently, there has been a new consensus at WP:RIVERS that Horse Creek (Tennessee River tributary) is makes more sense to our readers. There are thousands of river and creek articles which are named in the older style. If you feel like moving these page names, feel free.– Gilliam (talk) 15:27, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Greenville edits

I reverted your edit under Greenville, South Carolina, as what you reverted was correct. The very last edits (spelling out a number 1 through 9) were perhaps optional, although many WP articles follow this rule. As for the revisions at the top, they are required. The syntax of the original first sentence is not grammatical (it's right out of the sixth grade). Also, the definite article "the" is permanently capitalized only if part of a product name, or if it's the name of a novel/play/song/film or town (ex. Hello, Njain. I saw your comments at Wikiproject Medicine. I saw from your profile that you're also a family medicine resident! I do hope that you're not conflating the terms osteopathic physicians and osteopaths in your comments on such a public forum. I would remind you that there are significant differences in terms of training and scope of practice. Please see here: [1] and [2]. It's unclear to me from your comments whether you were referring to American-trained osteopathic physicians or non-physician osteopaths trained outside of the U.S. Either way, I suggest making the comment clearer and/or striking it. Invitation to take part in a survey about medical topics on Wikipedia

I am Piotr Konieczny, a sociologist of new media at Hanyang University (and User:Piotrus on Wikipedia). I would like to better understand Wikipedia's volunteers who edit medical topics, many associated with the WikiProject Medicine, and known to create some of the highest quality content on Wikipedia. I hope that the lessons I can learn from you that I will present to the academic audience will benefit both the WikiProject Medicine (improving your understanding of yourself and helping to promote it and attract new volunteers) and the wider world of medical volunteering and academia. Open access copy of the resulting research will be made available at WikiProject's Medicine upon the completion of the project.

All questions are optional. The survey is divided into 4 parts: 1 - Brief description of yourself; 2 - Questions about your volunteering; 3 - Questions about WikiProject Medicine and 4 - Questions about Wikipedia's coverage of medical topics.
