Explicit

My Google search yields nothing about any controversy about "vulgarities" on the album cover. Can you provide links? Is this an actual controversy in reliable sources, or just something whipped up in the blogosphere? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:16, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Not the album cover, the songs in it. --Nahnah4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:18, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
What the heck are you talking about? Are you incapable of being clear? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:30, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
@Cullen328: I meant the songs in the album are explicit. --Nahnah4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:34, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
I am 62 years old. When I was 16, one of my favorite bands, the MC5, recorded a song called (Changed by Nahnah4). We don't censor that on Wikipedia. Why are you so reluctant to tell me what's really going on here? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:39, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
@Nahnah4: No, no, you don't get it. I am saying that some songs in the album is explicit, therefore the explicit cover should be inside. --NN4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:41, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
@Cullen328: Boy, what a mixup...let me try to clear this. Albums (at least in the US) usually come in both explicit and clean (non-explicit) forms. Explicit albums contain all the songs in their full-vulgar glory, while the clean albums contain the songs with censored out vulgarities. And in some cases (like this), an album's explicit version might have a different cover than the clean one. This is simply a case of Nahnah uploading the explicit version's cover to the article, and another editor reverting it since we apparently (?) only use the clean version. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 08:43, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
Basically, that user shouldn't revert my upload on uploading an explicit cover. I shall inform that user (who is Livelikemusic). --NN4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:45, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

You just censored my comment. That seems hypocritical. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:47, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

No, it's not. I just do not like them. --NN4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:48, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
You object to other people censoring your uploads and then turn right around and censor my comment about a notable 46 year old album track. That's monumentally hypocritical. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:52, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
What? No. --NN4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 08:54, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
Yes! Absolutely. Look in the mirror. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:56, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
I looked already. All I saw was me and the things behind of it, which was sadly not the computer. Please read User talk:Nahnah4/Editnotice.--NN4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 09:08, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) @Cullen328: Hi, your comments seem a bit impatient and curt. I don't remember this side of you. Please respect this user's wishes regarding vulgarities. After all, there is a large stop sign with that parameter listed before posting to this talk page. Thanks, and as always, all the best. Fylbecatulous talk 15:18, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
P.S. This may seem a bit outdated, but I stalk the Teahouse and this was remarked upon today; you being a host and all ... Fylbecatulous talk 15:20, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Nahnah4, I apologize for getting impatient with you. Fylbecatulous, the frustration came when NN4 visited the Teahouse with a vague concern about someone reverting his upload of a specific explicit album cover, and wouldn't clearly describe the issue despite several requests for clarification. I apologize to both of you, and suggest that if the user is so uncomfortable about such matters, they should avoid editing in such areas. As for the warning above, it seems a bit hyperbolic, but I will simply be very careful in the future. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 15:40, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Hi Cullen, thank you. ツ I agree the warning may be a bit over-the-top and I would not apply it to my own talk page, but take the meaning...as you may recall I am a bit hypersensitive too, on Wiki and off. Merci beaucoup, Fylbecatulous talk 15:51, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

MH370 Good article?

I reckon its a very good job. The whole range of Wikipedia skills and interests has been applied to it: technical expertise; writing and editing skills; mapping skills; and those with the patience to correct all the references and links; as well as those who have patrolled the less-than-helpful edits. Hey, I noticed that you recently created the category Category:Book-turned-films, way to be proactive! However, that category was redundant: we already have a very full and extensive category at Category:Books adapted into filmsWhen creating categories, its always best practice to make sure that their are not other types of categories that capture the same information. Doing a quick survey of related articles, or the larger category hierarchy can usually turn up a category that will capture the intended concept either in whole or in part. I hope that you continue categorizing, but make sure that you work with many thousands of hours of work other volunteers have put in before you.

Also, as a second note, the massive stop sign on the talk page message is very unwelcoming, and will likely discourage some people from communicating with you. Talk pages are important tools and collaboration is easier to solicit when inviting or welcoming someone to contribute a conversation, instead of telling them, very boldly, to "stop" something.

Happy editing, and keep up the good work Being bold!!!! Sadads (talk) 16:18, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Boom Clap, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File:Flashing message to stop using wikipedia.gif

Hi, while I don't care that much about the image, I don't understand why you nominated File:Flashing message to stop using wikipedia.gif for deletion as an orphaned NFCC image, as I clearly tagged it as free includng with explanation of the fonts used (although the raster rendering of fonts are generally not considered a problem due to being simple geometric shapes and us only needing to comply with US law on wikipedia, unlike commons). If for some reason you're disputing the free licences, you need to use the appropriate tags, with explaination. Nil Einne (talk) 09:57, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Nil Einne. I have put the speedy deletion tag as it is AN orphaned file. The non-AA is not. Nahnah4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 10:01, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
I don't understand what an AN orphaned file is or what you mean by 'the non-AA' but in any event the tag you used is intended solely for non free content which this is not, as I mentioned above. Nil Einne (talk) 10:04, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
I am saying that the picture is not used anywhere and 'non-AA' stands for File:Flashing message to stop using wikipedia no AA.gif. Nahnah4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 10:06, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Yes, sorry, I belated realised you meant an orphaned file and the capitalisation was I guess just for emphasis or by accident and the non AA referred to another file. However the fact remains the tag you used is not intended for generally orphaned files, only those which are non free which this is not. You could perhaps argue it serves no encyclopaedic purpose or something similar in FFD and it's possible I won't contest that, but please use an appropriate tag and process. Please don't create redundant categories. If you want a simple way of locating all of the pages in your user subspace, please use Special:PrefixIndex (populated: [1]). Yunshui  10:17, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

@Yunshui: I figured that out, that's why I CSD'ed it. Nahnah4 | Any thoughts? Pen 'em down here! | No Editcountitis! 10:19, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
That's weird; I never saw the tag. Must've been in the process of deleting it when you added the db-c1. Okay, no problem then. Yunshui  10:22, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Let It Go (Disney song)

Your edits to this article stating that the song had never been released as a single have been a topic for discussion a few days ago on the talk page. I temporarily undid your revision for now, because {{Infobox single}} was the consensus previously reached. Another editor has raised the issue again, and I hope you can join them and continued the discussion. Thank you. ALittleQuenhi (talk to me) 09:15, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

As you are more experienced in the field, I hope you can give examples showing that unnotable releases can be neglected or sort. I respect that you don't think his "radio single" claim is valid. Sorry for only personally supporting you, but yeah, there is someone on your sider while he has none. Have a good day.Forbidden User (talk) 12:22, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
