On the list of fantasy species

I believe the plan for this list is to mention only the original source for each species; so I have been deleting non-original species such as Warhammer high elves. Of course, if the page is deleted it is rather a moot point...Ben Standeven 01:08, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fascism and Nazism as representative forms of socialism

I am sorry to bother you again, but I really need some help. There is an ongoing campaign by a few editors to portray Fascism and Nazism as representative forms of socialism. As part of this effort (a debate that stretches back to 2004), there are a tiny handful of editors who revert and redirect National Socialism to Nazism. I believe a majority of editors support redirecting National Socialism to National Socialism (disambiguation). I realize we just had a poll on the Nazism page where I thought this issue was settled, but apparently the struggle is not over. Please consider voting in the new poll, or adding a comment at: Talk:Nazism#Survey:_redirecting_National_Socialism. Also consider notifying other editors with an interest in this matter. I am doing the best I can, but need assistance. Thanks.--Cberlet 17:13, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No Personal Attacks!

Stop Comments like these are not acceptable here. Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Rex 09:28, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reported for personal attacks

Stop I have reported you for repeatedly making personal attacks. Calling people "whiny little bitches" is just unacceptable. Rex 09:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Fut.Perf. 09:50, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

24 hour block for making repeated personal attacks, culminating in this one. Some of us can read Dutch.   REDVERSSЯEVDEЯ  10:19, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hmm fine. i never wrote in dutch to encrypt it, of course there are dutch speaking admins as well. but i dont see how that was a personal attack. he obstinately kept by a lie about me, which is provoking, which i explaned to him in his talkpage. if that counts as a personal attack...well then you make bullying extremely easy· Lygophile has spoken 10:32, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks buddy

Thanks for a good conversation you and I have been having about child abuse in the South Park article. I'm much more used to editors attacking me if/when I disagree, or rather, don't agree with their opinions. I appreciate your immense civility. Also, you have exceedingly good English; I would not have known it was not your native language unless I saw your userpage. Either way, thanks again buddy! het gelukkige uitgeven! (I think that means "happy editing", but if not, I hope it doesn't mean anything bad lol). Yours, Jmlk17 20:37, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eh, I gave it a shot lol. I speak some German, and they are a bit similar, so I tried lol. Keep up the good work! Jmlk17 00:07, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I understand what you're doing, but....

...in the Stan Marsh article, I understand that you are trying to reason that since he doesn't walk around and say, "I'm a Catholic." then he can't be one. Fact is, however, he attends a Catholic Church and, unless we're going to say he is an idiot, he is Catholic. I understand where you're coming from, but it's not really applicable. He obviously believes in Jesus, attends Church, etc. so it's foolish to try and reason that he doesn't have a religion. Beyond that, however, I appreciate what you're trying to do.

DP and DR

I can see you've expressed an interest in the differences between depersonalization and derealization. I'd like to invite you to take a look at the new derealization article. Absentis 15:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know what this means?

I believe this is written in Dutch. What does it mean?:

"Dit artikel is nog niet gereed voor Wikipedia".

It was on a tag in the Netherland's Wikipedia. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 01:50, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that translation. But when shaped around to be worded in a more English fashion, does that mean "This article may be deleted if not improved" or simply "This article is a stub. Please expand it"?

And I agree. Always directly translate something from another language. No matter how strange it may seem to a user who doesn't know that language - yet - it still keeps the original flavour!

Thanks again! Wilhelmina Will (talk) 02:34, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't thank you enough; the article I found it on is the Dutch form of an article I frequently contribute to, and I had provided an external-language link to it. Then, upon thinking about that tag I had seen, I was worried about what was to happen to that article. But while you aren't sure either, you've still given me rest assurance!

Meg Griffin

Ugh, was trying to give a reason this time, but I hit enter (to save) instead of shift for a a parenthesis...anyways..."implied" as you put = WP:OR. Please provide sources, and not just linking to episodes where it is "implied" she has gender identity issues. CTJF83 chat 03:50, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's more on the lines of how Peter insults her all the time. Gender Identity would be her dressing like a boy, acting like a boy, etc, not jesus calling her fella. Also WP:V is a policy, and as such anything needs to be sourced. The episode isn't a source, until make comes out and says "I have gender identity issues", otherwises it's what we call OR, read it. CTJF83 chat 22:00, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story is the episode. WP:V says I can remove anything unsourced, but if you wanna add it followed by a {{fact}} tag go for it. Looks like I know quite a bit about FG, huh. CTJF83 chat 22:15, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 16

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Joaquin Phoenix, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cleft (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
