THANK YOU @Doc James: but if I am one of the 300, I'd say we need more medical editors! Happy Rare Disease Day! --Hordaland (talk) 17:44, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
Yes definitely :-) Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18:34, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Help me!

I wondered how many page watchers a particular article has, clicked on Page watchers in the column to the left and got a 404. Tried a couple more pages and got only 404.

Edit history stats also gives 404.

Traffic stats actually works!

Page watchers and Edit history stats should be removed from all pages if these functions aren't in order. To whom shall I address this matter (or will you?)?

P.S. I just found a work-around: for Jet lag it is here. However, that requires some digging and is not sufficient. Thanks, --Hordaland (talk) 17:36, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
@Hordaland: Can you give me an exact set of steps to reproduce the issue? As well as which skin you're using and a list of gadgets you have enabled? The link to "page information" appears to work for me, however; a gadget or other configuration change could be messing with that. ~ Matthewrbowker Drop me a note 17:40, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
@Hordaland: I've figured it out, never mind. You appear to have loaded User:Smith609/toolbox.js, which contains the links you mention. The domains https://wikidashboard.appspot.com/enwiki/wiki/ and http://toolserver.org/~mzmcbride/watcher/ appear to be no longer functional. I can point you to toollabs:xtools-articleinfo in the meantime, will that help? I would recommend contacting User:Smith609 to look into fixing those domains. ~ Matthewrbowker Drop me a note 17:53, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
@Matthewrbowker: I've used "Help me" before and am always impressed with how quickly the response comes. Thanks!
EDIT CONFLICT: I'll add my text here, in case it will be needed. (Don't want to have to do it over.) THEN I will study your last message, but must eat dinner first; it's half past 8 here.  :)
Steps to reproduce (for me): at any article, left-click on "Page watchers".
"Skin" & "gadgets" are Greek to me, but I'll try. ('Twould be nice if you could access my Preferences, but I s'pose you can't. I haven't changed anything there for years, I think.) I should admit that I now and then get a quick look at some kind of warning telling me something's wrong. It, too, is Greek to me and it disappears almost instantly. That may well be my problem...
Skin is apparently Vector. Under Gadgets:
  • Browsing
  • Focus the cursor in the search bar on loading the Main Page
  • Navigation popups: article previews and editing functions pop up when hovering over links
  • Open external links in a new tab or window
  • Print options: control how pages are printed (for example, remove images or backgrounds)
  • Enable the Teahouse "Ask a question" feature
  • Reference Tooltips: hover over inline citations to see reference information without moving away from the article text
  • FormWizard: a wizard for creating and expanding project pages
  • 'Watchlist
  • Geonotice: display notices on your watchlist about events in your region
  • (This loads the base style for the watchlist. Please do not disable this option.)
  • Display pages on your watchlist that have changed since your last visit in bold (see customizing watchlists for more options)
  • Editing
  • wikEdDiff: improved diff view between article versions (not needed if wikEd is used)
  • Form for filing disputes at the dispute resolution noticeboard
  • CharInsert: add a toolbar under the edit window for quickly inserting wiki markup and special characters (troubles?)
  • refToolbar: add a "cite" button to the editing toolbar for quick addition of commonly used citation templates
  • Appearance
  • Add an [edit] link for the lead section of a page
  • Add a clock to the personal toolbar that displays the current time in UTC and provides a link to purge the current page
  • Replace the "new section" tab text with "+"
  • Change UTC-based times and dates, such as those used in signatures, to be relative to local time (documentation)
  • Show radio buttons to switch between views of certain content, such as some maps
  • SidebarTranslate: display sidebar language links in English
  • Mark navigation links to featured (Monobook-bullet-star.png) and good (Monobook-bullet-ga.png) articles in other languages
Hope I got all that right. Thanks, again. --Hordaland (talk) 18:35, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Thank you

Hello and thank you very much! I don't know much about Wikipedia, but I experienced that my edits got vandalised much more frequently when I did have a username, a couple of years ago! God Pinse! :) PS. I wrote about half the article called "Norwegian Empire", do you like that article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.231.182 (talk) 17:25, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Indeed, there's still a lot of work to be done to that article. I know a lot of Norwegian history, but I know little about how Wikipedia works and I've had other things to focus on. Hopefully I will get more time on my hands for this project. Gratulerer med dagen fra Oslo! :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.231.182 (talk) 23:17, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
