3rd party opinion request

Hey Dave, there's a debate here on the Talk:Chengdu J-20 page as to whether or not it is a 'purported' or actual 5th-generation stealth fighter. The citation numerous authors have used seems to be unclear on this and I'm concerned 'purported' is a weasel word. I don't want to run afoul of 3RR, so please check in, thanks. If you find purported to be a weasel word, feel free to edit it out of the first sentence on the Chengdu J-20 page. Lostromantic (talk) 07:37, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

  • Please use the talk page to discuss and to be frank, I'm against the whole idea of 3rd/4th/5th generation aircraft thingie. Peace, out. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 06:37, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:RSAF Logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:RSAF Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:33, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Reality check

Actually mate the IP was right. Great Britain is the largest island in the British Isles. The correct name for the country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. GB is used, wrongly as it happens, to be synonymous with the UK. Just as England is also, wrongly, used. See the wee sassenachs dinnae knae any better. Soltam M-66

Dave at first i too thought that vafa is a copy of soltam so it was me who originally added that section to soltam m66 article but after closer examination it become clear for me that vafa is not a copy of m66 for example m66 is a smoothbore mortar [1] while Vafa is not [2] [3] and also there is no source that indicate that vafa is a copy of soltam or even that iran received m66 from any countryFarzam1370 (talk) 21:13, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

Sanity Check

First of all we have citation bombing, then you add the citations, then it isn't in the citation, so you add a quote to show it is, then they retag it claiming it isn't, add a shedload more citations, now they're saying the citations ain't good enough as only 2 are used (which is BS btw).[4] Please tell me I'm insane and its all in my imagination, they're really good boys and just want to improve the article. WP:POINT or insanity? Wee Curry Monster talk 23:50, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Bye

You're too good for this place, I wish you well old friend. Wee Curry Monster talk 18:46, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

  • Bro, that haggis isn't worth your attention, find better fish to fry and take a short break while you're at it. Please believe in karma, because what goes around will come around eventually, whether he likes it or not. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 18:59, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Thanks!

I wasn't too bothered, but thanks for coming and fixing it. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 20:54, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Spike (missile)

If you do more than just revert vandalism mention what you've done in the edit summary, or the changes you make might be seen as a sneaky form of vandalism. Thomas.W (talk) 06:55, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

  • Whatever, next time when you're in doubt, please ask first. FYI, I'm not a newbie but a real human being, I can't be always up to date with things, especially when I'm in a hurry. And you obviously need friends here to help you, not making enemies by slyly implying that they are vandals. So, if you have nothing good to say, say nothing! --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 07:05, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
