I have removed your CSD nomination on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Clara Amfo] on the grounds that the article is not yet eligible for G13 as the last edit to the page was a little over a month ago. CSD:G13 says Rejected or unsubmitted Articles for creation pages that have not been edited in over six months. This criterion applies to all drafts in WikiProject Articles for creation project and talk namespaces, as well as all userspace drafts that are using the project's {{AFC submission}} template. Under that criterion, the page is not eligible. Please exercise more caution in the future as improper usage of the speedy deletion criteria can be disheartening to editors in addition to being disruptive to the project in general. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Appletree Medical Group

Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... It is being held out in the United Kingdom as an example we should be following. The reference is from a respected and impartial journal. The claims made appear to be objectively verifiable. This is not advertising. (Rathfelder (talk) 21:47, 10 February 2014 (UTC)talk) 21:42, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback

Hello, Bearian. You have new messages at N4's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

The reason I cited NEO is that I strongly suspect this is a hoax, something made up one day. It has all the signs - SPA author, text of impenetrable jargon (I know theologico-philosophical writing is often dense, but not this bad! The first sentence doesn't seem to be a sentence - what is the object of the verb "taking"?) and I can find absolutely no confirmation, either of the word or of their source "Neurnheiser". The only other use I have found is a quite different sense - a doctor fed up with being called a "service provider" saying sarcastically that he is a doctor "of medicine, not of providology". I wait with interest to see whether they de-PROD it at the eleventh hour. Regards,JohnCD (talk) 19:10, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am watching it, too. Bearian (talk) 20:33, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have come to think that anything in the new articles list whose title ends in "-ism" or "-ology" is 90% likely to be, at best, something made up. JohnCD (talk) 21:39, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. Bearian (talk) 21:45, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bearian, just to let you know that you !voted twice at the AFD - once on 4 Feb and once on 11 Feb - with different votes. Would you mind clarifying one or the other? Oncenawhile (talk) 01:37, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Phoneme

Hi, Bearian. At the risk of sounding like a jerk I thought I'd point out that Kush is not a phoneme. Kush is what is known in technical parlance as a word, or if you want a label with more syllables you could call it a morpheme; /k/ and /ʃ/ are phonemes. Anyway, sorry for pointing out a minor lapse of attention. Happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 05:45, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pardon my malapropism. Bearian (talk) 14:46, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Devil's Tree

Hi,

The Devil's Tree article was deleted several years ago. It has since been restored under Devil's Tree with additional citations and has passed an AfD. The article has since had additional reliable sources. Is it possible for you to create a redirect for The Devil's Tree?

Also there is a separate article 53rd and 6th (as known as The Halal Guys). This cart is more than notable and has multiple sources that can be added. I vehemently disagreed with the outcome of the AfD. Is it possible for you to restore it to my userspace? Thanks! Valoem talk 23:16, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done The Devil's Tree is now a protected redirect. Bearian (talk) 14:40, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done The old Halal guys cart article, or at least a version of it, is now at User:Valoem/Cart. I make no warranties about whether it is the best version. Bearian (talk) 14:45, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Article FRIMO

Hello Bearian, you deleted the article about the company FRIMO because of A7: No explanation of significance (real person/animal/organization/web content/organized event.

But FRIMO is a notable company because mostly every second car in the world contain parts of the FRIMO group.

Here are some resources where you can convince yourself about the significance of the FRIMO company.

All of those sources are industry news organs, and are not necessary reliable sources, as we require for notability. I will "userfy" the article for you to work on a draft more per WP:REFUND. Bearian (talk) 17:22, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alex Sink

I moved your section about cybersquatting to Florida's 13th congressional district special election, 2014 after User:Collect deleted it. I don't know why he didn't move it himself. Also, most people would have done an undo rather than deleting it manually. Is he new here? I didn't look at the rest of the extensive deletions he made at the same time. 71.23.178.214 (talk) 21:16, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Um -- I have made well over 30,000 edits here, and have actually read WP:NPOV etc. Articles should not be used for campaign rhetoric at any time, so I made your edit abide by Wikipedia policies. Cheers. Collect (talk) 00:47, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I made the edit, Collect deleted it, the IP editor moved it, and we were all being bold, no problem. Actually, the problem with cybersquatting turns out to be wider than Florida's 13th CD, and, FWIW, I don't think it was either undue, nor POV-pushing in violation of policy. I think it ought to be somewhere in WP, and perhaps having it in Sink's article was not the wisest place. Bearian (talk) 21:41, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, for the record, I don't think what I added was POV-pushing, and note that I have not tried to put the material back in, without a discussion. Bearian (talk) 21:48, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

re Deletion_review#Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Causal layered analysis

Hi. I hope you don't mind my intervention on your page - I am aware you may not have time for this but meanwhile for want of means, I raise the following:

I'm interested in the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:Deletion_review#Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Causal layered analysis. I have 2 concerns (so far):

  • is that the right place for the discussion? Shouldn't it be at Wikipedia:Deletion review?
  • where/how are you sourcing an "uninvolved sysop"?

I may not be able to reply till Monday next week (March 3rd, 2014).--not newbieDadaNeem (talk) 23:05, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
