This article concerns itself with the events of the COVID-19 in Brasil that ocurred in the state of São Paulo in the first semester of 2020. The city of São Paulo registered the first case in Brazil, of a 61-year-old man that had returned from Italy and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
