What happens when a Wikipedian dies? He or she just doesn't show up to edit anymore! Does anybody notice? Does anybody really even care? To all those Wikipedians, who may have died and been forgotten here โ thank you โ for your tireless contributions and ๐๐ป rest in peace ๐๐ป

Hello, it's Billjones94 (in real life: Yogabrata Chakraborty; from Kolkata, "the city of joy"), just one of the thousands of geeks ๐, hooked on the joys of editing on Wikipedia. I primarily am a numismatist, poet, blogger, hardcore history lover, and a diehard fan of Indian football. I may make mistakes, please assume good faith, and (if possible) kindly talk to me.
Today is July 13, 2024 and we currently have 6,850,997 articles on the English Wikipedia.
Articles are to be written from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is not concerned with facts or opinions, it just summarizes reliable sources. This usually means that secular academia is given prominence over any individual sect's doctrines, though those doctrines may be discussed in an appropriate section that clearly labels those beliefs for what they are.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. Being thankful . . . living life with gratitude . . . is contagious. When you take the time to thank those in your life, thank those who make a difference, you set an example for others to follow. A simple "thank you" lets others know your appreciation, and it also encourages a culture of gratitude.

Gifts I received
Drat8sub (talk) has given you a falafel sandwich! Falafel sandwiches are a specialty of the Middle East. With a little tahini and maybe a spicy sauce, they are delicious and promote WikiLove. Hopefully, this one has added flavor to your day. You might be starving after continuous rescuing of citation and stat updates of India football related articles. Take a big bite in this rainy season.
Happy First Edit Day! Hi Billjones94! On behalf of the Birthday Committee, I'd like to wish you a very happy anniversary of the day you made your first edit and became a Wikipedian! Ezra Cricket (talk) 07:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
