{{editprotected}} The title is not rendering correctly, as if the wikicode is being ignored. Can this be fixed?

Also, can we add some sort of red box, icon, or something that will bring attention to the notice? Isn't there a base-template for such editnotices? --damiens.rf 14:39, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

There is a base template - it wasn't used, and that is why it didn't display the title correctly. I've added it, along with some formatting - I think a colored background might be overkill, but some slightly-larger-that-normal text might help to draw attention to it. :-) ^Avic_ennasis @ 20:48, 9 Av 5771 / 9 August 2011 (UTC)

I agree that the simple black and white text-only design does not stand out enough. I've added some formatting, based on the design used in templates like Template:Editnotice for lists of people, Template:Editnotice for lists of people by religious belief. Does it look okay? May I propose that we drop the first sentence? Telling contributors in the first sentence that sourced, good-faith additions will probably be reverted unless discussed beforehand on the talk page may come across as a little WP:OWNery. The last sentence is sufficient to address the problem, and alert contributors to the need for notability and reliable sourcing, as well as the fact that their contributions are likely to be reverted if they do not meet requirements.
