• What Jakec said – we capitalise breed names in Wikipedia, but no longer capitalise the common names of bird species (even though almost all reliable sources do). Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 15:43, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

If it's not too late, may I suggest an even catchier hook? It's based on a fact from the hatnote:

It's cited that it's a chicken, so logically, it's not a partridge in general, and not a green-legged partridge in particular. But I won't insist. — Kpalion^(talk) 13:45, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
