The wiki text below, is outdated, and doesn't match any of the census data, nor is it a valid metric as it is a voluntary community survey used by only 80 million people. This does not match the current US Census data. Here is the current data and link: English 12.5% (mixed ancestry white 19.8%) German 7.6% (19.1%) Irish 5.3% (16.4%) Italian 3.2% (7.1%) Polish 1.3% (3.7) French 0.8% (3.4%) Scottish 0.7% (3.6%) https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/interactive/detailed-race-ethnicities-2020-census.html

Below is the inaccurate data:

The most commonly reported ancestries of non-Hispanic White Americans include German (13%), Irish (10%), English (9%), Italian (6%), French (4%), Polish (3%), Scottish (3%), Scotch-Irish (2%), and Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, and Russian (each 1%), respectively.[1][2][3][4] AmericanDemographics (talk) 10:27, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"% change" column in table in the "Demographic information" section showing a wrong calculation

the "% change" column is not showing the change in percent from one ten year data point to the next. It's showing nominal change in the white population. who can fix this? skakEL 12:15, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
