VR Brain

Untitled

I think a section on "VR brain" should be added to this article. It's an experience similar to sickness, that is characterized by feeling "weird" after using VR. It may or may not involve symptoms generally associated with "sickness", like nausea. It often lasts for hours, sometimes even days, tending to last longer with longer exposure to VR. Experiences can be difficult to put into words, with some only being able to really say that they feel weird. Other people are very descriptive of their symptoms, likening it to things similar to dissociative and depersonalization disorders. Often people report feeling like real life seems extra 3D, and report weirdness involving their hands (likely only affecting people who use VR that employs "VR hands"). People seem to generally speak of "VR brain" as an unpleasant feeling. (It certainly is for me.) But some people say that it feels good or interesting to them. The same bio-mechanics that cause VR sickness are likely at work with VR brain, as the two feelings tend to coincide (are comorbid), although maybe not experienced at the exact same time.
