Falling asleep during surgery

Courts rarely consider "falling asleep" (especially while driving or during surgery) to be an acceptable defense; Falling asleep during surgery as a defense?? huh?? Can somebody explain that please...? --WS 21:39, 30 August 2005 (UTC) you could die when you sleep in the surgery right? just drink coffee when you're in a sleepy condition![reply]

Actually the courts have to consider the question quite often. See automatism and automatism (case law), the latter having a detailed discussion of sleep problems. David91 09:37, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

picture versus text about hypnosis

it is confusing that the first (feeling like the main) picture of the article is described as showing something having to do with hypnosis, while a little farther down the article text emphazises that the article subject has nothing to do with hypnosis. I don't know how to fix this myself, maybe someone else has an idea how to do it (possibly simply removing the picture?). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:3037:41D:9021:2:2:5F04:93BC (talk) 07:39, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
