Cinema has been passion. It was my desire to write that propelled me to cinema. Since my childhood I have been writing lots of short stories. It was this that brought me from ThiruthuraiPoondi to Chennai. Many of my stories have appeared in many magazines, journals and weeklies. Over a 10 of novels titled Vendumadi Nee Enakku, Mansukkul Varalama, Kudimagan, Sarasu and Soundarya have been published by many publications. Having started my career as PRO in 1992, I was sincerely executing my task as a bridghe between the film personalities, production house with the media personnel. I should thank my mentor Diamond Babu who mentored me in this profession. I worked with him for many films starting from Rajnikanth starrer Mannan till Sivaji Ganesan's son Prabhu's 100th film Rajakumaran. My passion for cinema helped me execute my work with utmost sincerity and decication. For over years, I worked as PRO for Tamil Film Producers Counil during which my work was appreciated highly. It was exactly during this period that I got acquanited with producer V Sekar and started to work for hiS Thiruvalluvar Kalaikoodam, which set a new trend in Tamil cinema producing a host of low-budget films that went on to become blockbusters. I worked for films including Koodi Vaazhnthal Kodi Nanmai, Viralukatha Veekam, Alukku Oru Asai, Veettoda Mappillai and Namma Veetu Kalyanam. Also with Durairaj's Mass Movie Makers, I worked as publicist for several films including Thenkasi Pattanam, Paarai, Gambheeram, Sathurangam. Also Jagan's Kodambakkam starring Nandha is in the list. I executed my work with utmost satisfaction for Pankaj Mehta's films including Maaran, Aaha Ethanai Azhagu, Pugaippadam and Ochayi, besides a host of films which includes half-a-dozen which are currently under-production. Besides I am working as publicist for many film personalities, actresses and music directors in Tamil cinema. Some of the awards and accolades that came my way are: 1. 2003 Dinakaran Award for best PRO 2. 2007 - MGR-Sivaji Academy award for best PRO 3.
