Major edits

I've started editing the page. I didn't have the time to insert references yet, and the whole thing is still pretty much a draft. I plan to expand it in the next 3 weeks. I would appreciate if in the meantime, you could put major comments in the talk page. It would be great if we could start a thorough discussion about the layout once I finish writing it. I plan to expand it on all levels, include a completely new section on history (not starting in 1918, but earlier, and not focusing exclusively on Fascist Italianization: this should not be the paramount focus here), the organization of the minority, political aspects. A whole new section will cover the issue of numbers (how many are there). This is my preliminary layout of the unwritten (or partially unwritten) sections:

Slovenes of Trieste and Gorizia

Mostly written

Venetian Slovenia

Canale Valley Slovenes

Geographic distinctions

On the cultural differencies of subregions and micro-regions: Karst, the Collio (Brda), Istrians, Natisone Valley, Torre Valley, Resia, Canale Valley etc.
