when you make changes
when you edit this page please state what you are doing and why, as otherwise it will just be altered back and forth with problems, please log in ,then discus on this page,after a response then change, I have written the introduction for this page as I feel it is important to state the religious facts about Sikhism, the ideology and what it about are important however people must know the connection between God and Guru Nanak from what it states in the texts otherwise it will seem than Guru Nanak was just a normal person who created a region without divine help which is not the case. So please add as much as you like but only change when you have discussed it here. This page does not flow at the moment it could be a lot better so lets do it together. 13:20, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Pronounciation

Sikh → Sikhs – Per WP:PLURAL: "Articles on people groups" are acceptable in plural form. There was recent consensus to move Christians from the singular to the plural form. Sikhism do not believe in castism , so please do remove the Caste section from this article. As said by Sikh Gurus , the one who is a sikh has no caste . Should we consider Sikhs to be an ethnoreligious group in the first sentence?
Sikhs are labeled as such in the category section, and occupy a unique standing similar to Jewish and Coptic people who have social status in their ethnicities being tied to religious beliefs. Mistakes, Corrections
1. Kirpan is not "daggar like" sword. Please see Kirpan 2. Violence in Punjab was started by Hindus and Nirankari and not By Sant Jarnail Singh. 10000 Hindus rioted against Amritsar as holy city by chanting "bidi, cigarette piyenge; shaan se jiyenge." and braiding swords. Nirankari claiming himself to be Guru Gobind Singh ji and challenging Sikhs. Hindus vandalized Amritsar railway station and removed Pictures of Guru Ramdas ji. Hindus were throwing tobacco in Darbar Sahib. When Haryana was formed Hindus raped and killed 400 Sikhs females and threw them in canal. Ignoring 1947-1980 ~30years of Violence by Hindus against Sikhs and picking up only 1980+ incident to blame Sikhs is a propaganda and not truth. 3. The violence against Hindus is mentioned as Sikh killed Hindus, but when it comes to Genocide in 1984 the Hindu role is removed.
