Broken link
The second link here seems to be broken. Mind replacing it with new ones? —Preceding unsigned comment added by AmcA (talk • contribs) Can anyone find a replacement for the broken link or maybe from archive org:

Periosteum and cementum.
My understanding is that Sharpey's fibers insert into BOTH the periosteum of the alveolar socket and the cementum, essentially connecting the PDL with these surfaces. They are the "insertion fibers". I believe the article as it currently reads is unclear. If you or anyone is an expert on tooth histology... I welcome your comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Erikke (talk • contribs) 21:10, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
