Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. Creating articles from sections of the page

Hi friends, This article is very long and encompasses many topics. They do all relate to 504, but I think some of them deserve their own space. I'm talking particularly about the protests and other activism as that does not specifically, culturally and historically speaking, impact only Section 504. Thoughts? @Dodger67: and @Pommette1789: what are your thoughts about separating out the activism onto another page and keeping the information about the legislation here? I'd love to hear other thoughts as well before I get started separating the article into two parts. Thanks! Jackiekoerner (talk) 22:11, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I haven't worked on this article yet, but I've been watching it since I'm interested in the history of Federal Office Building (San Francisco, California). Currently the article is not yet at the 50k guideline for when articles may need to be divided based on size - Wikipedia:Article size#Size guideline. I'd especially hesitate on moving the 504 occupation material out of this article, since it's such an important part of the story of Section 504. I'd suggest looking for bits that can be removed from the current article without losing encyclopedic information - some of the current language veers slightly from WP:NPOV, and it could help to tighten those sentences and fit them closely to references. I tried pruning some sentences and rearranging a few paragraphs, to give the article more room to grow; it could use more of that kind of work. I also added a few "citation needed" tags to some sentences that made larger claims without references. Thanks for working on this article! Dreamyshade (talk) 06:10, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, friend, for joining in! Let's make this piece AWESOME! Jackiekoerner (talk) 23:25, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
