Alternative account

I have an alternative account under the username User:Dodger67-test&nonsecure. It is used for the following purposes:

  1. To edit Wikipedia via insecure internet connections.
  2. To enable me to experience the same interface and editing environment as new editors. My usual interface and editing environment has been quite extensively customised and modified over the years. This will allow me to properly assist new editors as I will see the same interface as they do.
  3. Any other situation where editing from an unmodified interface is preferable.

Seconded by Antonu (talk) 11:05, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

The Teamwork Barnstar
Roger, I thought that this is the appropriate thanks for helping the Sophiatown article get GA status. I could also have selected a copyeditor's barnstar to acknowledge your editing. The reason I chose this one was that you helped and coordinated the whole process and also guided and mentored a novice gently through all of this. Well done. ShiningWolf (talk) 10:43, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Wikiwings Barnstar
For meritorious service in the cause of all good things in the Imperial Gift article. Bzuk (talk) 14:50, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diligence
I just wanted to show my appreciation in the way you swiftly closed down the medal ranking debate at Talk:2012 Summer Olympics medal table before it turned into full scale bloodshed. I hope and pray that the discussion doesn't get revisited come Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016. Wesley Mouse 14:51, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
The Seasonal Barnstar
In recognition of the good advice you have given at the help desks throughout the year, I award you this Seasonal Barnstar. -- John of Reading (talk) 18:02, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
