Hack job

An editor at an IP address and two other users seem to have taken an axe to this article, where a scalpel would have been much more useful, thus hacking out entire sections of useful and cited material. I'd like to add back in some selective parts. Bearian (talk) 16:31, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I placed back in some, but not all, of the material removed, without explanation, by an IP user who has since been blocked. I am holding off on further edits until the other regular users can chime in. I'll return to this discussion in a few days. Bearian (talk) 16:39, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am not going to undo all the edits of Andrew Gray and Scott Martin, because they fixed a lot of my errors -- and those of others. There has been intermittent vandalism and clean-up. However, I believe that a few parts really need to be put back into the article. In particular, I placed back parts about Blackstone, which I think are entirely relevant and well-sourced. I also think that removing the material on the Slaughter-House Cases was quibbling; the relationships between the 14th Amednment and the Rights of Englishmen are fairly well spelled out. What do others think? Bearian (talk) 16:50, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to be demolished once again ... sigh. Bearian (talk) 19:50, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Bearian, if there is content that you, or other editors, think should be added back into this article then I would support being bold and adding it back in, that may be the best way to get input from other editors. Whizz40 (talk) 04:54, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I will do after this semester is done. Bearian (talk) 19:49, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
