Talk:Ribosomal frameshift

Untitled

I plan to make the following edits: After merge with Translational frameshift page, a general reorganization of content (subsections for general overview from other page), consolidating information about control mechanisms, adding information about p-site events to control mechanisms section, adding a mention of frameshift as a way to control RNA levels rather than creating new protein, adding more detail about -1 frameshifting, adding a figure to show mechanism of -1 frameshift according to tandem model, and general edits for grammar and clarity. Not sure if the secondary structures image gallery from the Translational page is worth keeping since there's not any kind of explanation or description for the images' relevance. Any thoughts? Merge proposal

I think Translational frameshift should be merged into Ribosomal frameshift. They cover basically the same concept and both articles are fairly short. Azhou0 (talk) 23:22, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
