Disambig status

There has been some recent low-level edit warring over whether this page is an article in its own right or a disambiguation page. To provide some history on this page, it used to be the home of the combined oral contraceptive pill article. After discussion in December 2006 (here is the start of that discussion), that page was moved to its current location. This page was created with the intention that it be a disambiguation page (diff): all of the linked article are full articles; the higher-level article is hormonal contraception, not this one.

As one who was involved in that move, I have a bias to keeping this as a disambiguation page. I am open to hearing arguments for changing its status, though. LyrlTalk C 14:43, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Making this a disambig has led to a ton of pages that point here that now need to be fixed to point to the correct article. Do you think you could rustle up some people involved with this move to clean up these links per WP:DABLINK#Links to disambiguated topics? Not a requirement, but it would be much appreciated. I've been bold and made this a set index article. Now you can go ahead and add some prose to it to make it a semi-list type article. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 09:16, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History of the pill

It seems that the pill is modern stuff. Could anyone who has knowledge on its history provide this section on the wiki? Also reference to Carl Djerassi. --203.192.187.2 (talk) 06:24, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
