Does anyone have an exact date on the termination of the Scotian? I have it on a 1979 VIA timetable, but I'm not sure how long it survived after that. Maybe part of the 1981 cuts?

Ocean vs The Ocean
There is some debate over at The Canadian / Canadian (train) about whether "the" should be included in the article title. I suppose it would apply to this article as well. Please take a look. - TheMightyQuill (talk) 18:40, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Name change
I don't think 1966 can be correct; see for example [1]. I've been searching--in vain--for a source. Edit: see also [2], which would date it to no earlier than 1981. On the other hand, see [3]. Mackensen (talk) 00:00, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
