Nugzar Kvirtia → Nugzar Kvirtiya – according to ticket:2020051010003529, that's their real name Martin Urbanec (talk) 15:13, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

• Oppose - what English-language sources are there which spell it as 'Kvirtiya'? Soccerway (one of the top sites) spells it 'Kvirtia', as does UEFA ...please ping me if additional sources are found. GiantSnowman 10:50, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

@Buidhe: Thank you for closing this request, and I'm sorry for not adding this comment earlier - I forgot to add this to my watchlist. The OTRS I mentioned is from the article subject themselves, and while article subjects don't have privilege to affect the article in any way, we normally do honor requests from article subjects in other cases (a perfect analogy is MOS:GENDERID). There are also this thing: UEFA has been apparently approached as well, and both [1] and [2] spells the name as Kvirtiya. Could you please reopen this move discussion, so this case can be re-evaluated? Thank you, --Martin Urbanec (talk) 13:31, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

• Concur with Martin Urbanec that the move is a reasonable request for a BLP since the person certainly knows the correct spelling of their own name, having read Mr. Kvirtiya's complaint at . Buidhe, I see that this Talk page has now been moved, but not the article (?). As to the original discussion, I do not follow soccer articles at all, and only became aware of it when a complaint was brought to my attention as an admin. 20:46, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
