errata in lippincott's 3rd and 4th edition on duration of action
Duration of action of neostigmine is incorrectly described as 30 minutes to 2 hours on page 51 of Lippincott's Pharmacology. However, on page 53 of the SAME text, it says 2 to 4 hours. Other Pharmacology texts, including Brenner's Pharmacology 3rd Ed. say neostigmine has a duration of action of 2-4 hours. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.160.229.8 (talk) 11:13, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

could be just a "pseudo errata"
CLinical duration of action of neostigmine is related to dose and way of administration. Oral intake (used in miastenia gravis) can produce hours of clinical efect, but IV dose can produce half to one hour of clinical efect.
