Merge with Thomsen Disease

A suggestion to merge with the Thomsen disease article was made on 19 April 2009. No rationale was given for the suggested merge, nor did any further discussion take place. Furthermore, the merge is inappropriate as Thomsen disease is one form of myotonia congenita among many forms. If anything, the Thomsen disease article should be merged here. Epidemiology

I wonder whether the difference in rates between Scandinavia and the world is actually a difference in the persistence of medical examinations. I'm not able to access the given references. I am an American with Thompson Disease. It's most likely a good idea for a medical editor to take on the task of turning this specific personal report into a description based on medical references.
