What is this company?

The article opens with 'Midwest Connect is the operating name of the regional airline providing feeder service for Midwest Airlines. Currently, only Skyway Airlines operates under this name, but beginning in April 2007, SkyWest Airlines will also fly for Midwest using the Midwest Connect name.' According to Midwest Air Group, Skyway Airlines, Inc. is a subsidiary that operates , or operates as Midwest Connect. Based on the codes, Midwest Connect appears to be a brand that offers service on flights on aircraft operated by Skyway Airlines and SkyWest Airlines. There is no reason to include two airlines a second time in an airline infobox. The interactions between these companies needs to be made clear in the parent companies. I believe that some of these article were separate a while go, but someone combined them. Clearly if it is the operating name, it is not an airline and should not have an infobox. If it does have retain the info box as a regional brand, it should not list any codes since unless it also owns and operates aircraft under that brand. Vegaswikian 19:09, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, remove the infobox. United Express doesn't have one. Delta Connection doesn't have one. AmericanConnection doesn't have one. I think in the past someone combined Midwest Connect and Skyway Airlines since they were pretty much the same, something along the lines of Skyway Airlines dba Midwest Connect. But now that the Midwest Connect brand name is being (or is about to be) used by two airlines, I thought it appropriate to split it off. I believe it should be handled just like the United Express, et. al. articles. -- Hawaiian717 20:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But all three of the examples you cite do have infoboxes as of December 2014. So, to be uniform this article should have one. Moreover, if this article should not have had an infobox in 2007, the Needs Infobox tag should have been removed. --Lineagegeek (talk) 14:56, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Embraer E-135

An earlier edit today indicates two of these aircraft being operated by Chautauqua Airlines. However, I could not find any indication of this, on Midwest or Chautauqua's website or via Google... --Lenin1991 (talk) 15:55, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Answered my own question, it's part of the transition from SkyWest --Lenin1991 (talk) 16:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
