Eggilicious removed my pronunciation guide, and I put it back it. I figure it's useful information to know how it's pronounced (considering it's an unintuitive pronunciation). I'm on the west coast of north america, if it's a regional thing. Nsteinberg (talk) 05:28, 22 May 2012 (UTC)

I've never heard it that way either (and I've worked as an organic chemist on the west coast, too). I don't think that pronunciation is important to include in the article, even if it was more common, because it is just jargon and trivia anyway. -- Ed (Edgar181) 12:04, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
