problem in article with location/measurement

Under "Presentation" the article states: 'Meckel's diverticulum is located in the distal ileum, usually within about 60-100 cm of the ileocecal valve.' I suspect centimetres is not the correct unit of measurement here, unless we are discussing a lifeform the size of a small country. Not being a medical person, I don't know what is correct. Milimetres? Billy Tallent (talk) 18:40, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Centimeters is correct. The reference is to length, a small bowel being roughly 6-7 meters long, a meckel's presents about 60cm away from the valve. Fuzbaby (talk) 20:42, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Male/female?

In Nelson's Textbook of Pediatrics it is stated that Meckel's is more common in females. Here - the opposite. Any thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.144.59.207 (talkcontribs) 10:33, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
