McQueen Street is BACK!!

This band had a Wikipedia article that was deleted in 2007 which, in all likelihood happened because it was orphaned or considered non-notable, too small or just poorly written and sourced, I don't know as I didn't see it, or probably just had somebody who didn't like the band and found some way to get the article deleted. I dispute all of the above because this band has sold over 100,000 copies of its albums, had 2 songs in the USA Top 50, 1 song in the USA Top 20, had 2 songs on MTV rotation, and a #1 song in Europe, plus it has been linked from the pages of Steve Stevens, Jeff Scott Soto & Tom Werman, so not only is it a notable band due to chart placement, it's also not an orphaned article. The band has a ton of followers who regularly bid up their original CDs into 3-figure territory. This band deserves a Wikipedia article as they are a part of history. If they had arrived 2 years before they did, they may have been as notable as Guns-N-Roses or Poison.Marvelocity (talk) 03:14, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Notability

I agree they were around, not top tier nor bottom, but they were a small part of history. For now, I removed the notability flag, but the article needs citations if it's going to survive.

Information removed

The information that was removed are well know facts i can give you signed documents from the record company , A&R agent that signed the band and over 50 people that are willing to give statements about these facts. But i am not going down that rd. If he believes this was not the way it was then I am not here to discredit him in any way. This was a great band and the 4 of use worked our asses off . We all give 110% to this band. We lived it. It was #1 over anything else in our lives at that time. All of us, no one guy did any less than the other. We all had our strong points. To paint this any other way is just not right. Truth and honesty. I’m not in this seeking money i never was in this for the money . The 4 of us were in this for our love for music. And the respect and love we had for each other. McQueen Street as a band wrote great music because the 4 of us all had ideas “just try it” Derek Welsh is a amazing lyricist.
