Do not change title

A diseases and disorders are possibly different, non-overlapping concepts. Or, they could be different, but overlap in some instances. Or, as suggested, they may be indistinguishable--which again is different from them being the same.

Impossible to resolve without definition

There is no tractable non-arbitrary solution to deciding if they should be combined, combined but maintained in separate namespaces, or just chucked out the window.

TODO

Come up with a definition of 'disease', 'disorder', and 'problem'
- Meaning a real definition, not a description
- Your personal ability to perceive distinctions doesn't mean they are not real and important

Title Change

If you look at the page, it seems to concern both diseases and disorders. Maybe the whole thing should be changed to "List of Medical Conditions", along with the alphabetical lists. Thoughts? Banielse (talk) 00:48, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Difference between Disease and Disorder

Disease can be transmitted from one individual to another e.g dengue Disorder cannot be transmitted from one individual to another e.g emphysema 182.185.88.69 (talk) 14:59, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
