Interesting, but very badly worded. What on earth is "disarmable"? GrahamBould 11:30, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think they meant that it could be dismantled. GraemeLeggett 12:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is no such word as 'dismantable', but I can't find a replacement! GrahamBould 13:46, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- the concept is either "broken down" or "folded up" - may vary bewtween aircraft. Do you fancy tackling the article title - "submarine launched aircraft" perhaps? GraemeLeggett 14:05, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Could we agree on a 'dismantable' replacement first, then fix the title, which I agree is a bit long & inaccurate. Why limit it to WWII, when others are mentioned anyway? GrahamBould 18:47, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- As that's not a common English word, or possible not an English word at all, could I suggest that if you use it then you first explain it. This would in particular help those readers whose first language is not English. Rich257 08:43, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- If you read the article you'll see the word used many times. It's not an English word, so we're trying to get a replacement. GrahamBould 13:23, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

rename
If the line Also included for comparison are earlier developments of submarine carried aircraft from the First World War and the period between the World Wars. is included then the title List of undersea-carried planes during World War II is inaccurate and should be renamed. balloon, airship, kite
all of them tethered. Some of them have been used to lift a periscope or cam or an antenna. (I have read somewhere.) Could be mentioned here. --Helium4 (talk) 00:02, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
