Article renaming

I've redirected the article from William Lai to Lai Ching-te as it is how the government of Taiwan refers to him. Therefore his Chinese name is the main one to be used. Asoksevil (talk) 18:11, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Chinese character for name

Why does his Chinese name use the Japanese character ‘淸’ rather than the actually correct Chinese one ‘清’? 2A02:A466:BA2C:1:90EC:7CCC:5158:2D5C (talk) 14:12, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
